What do you think of a cop getting attitude towards someone with money?
Q. Do Police think they're better than people with money or more money than them? Why would a cop get an attitude with someone who has money? Let's say this person got in some trouble ( not major) with the police and the police got attitude with the person, but they wouldnt dare take it further than the attitude... But why get an attitude?

A. Some cops can be envious jerks, like other people. A lot of that is going around more now. Marxist propagandists are more active than they have been for a long time. You see a lot of them on here.

Does anyone have information on correct landing attitude of a Schleicher AS-K13?
Q. A club I belong to ownes 2 AS-k13'S. We want to find information on the correct landing attitude of the glider. Our flight manual does not give the correct landing attitude (main wheel, tail wheel, tail and main, skid and main.) I have searched the net and can not find any information that was sourced from Schleicher Aircraft Corp. in regards to the correct attitude. we are not looking for opinions the club has enough of those we are looking for sourced Schlieker information. Most sources (Germans) say tail and main first, but once again opinions are not enough. We need proof.
Asked by Scott A - Fri Sep 7 11:54:30 2007 - - 2 Answers - 1 Comments
A. You'll touch down level on the main wheel. Just level out a couple of feet off the runway and add spoiler until you settle in. Hit the tailwheel first and you do some damage. It's just meant for ground handling mostly. Wont even stay together if its on the ground and you make a sharp turn on rollout. Never touch down skid first.

Q. If someone from Dominican Republic, who is a mix (white and black) has an opportunity to conduct research work in Spain, Barcelona, for a couple of years should they take it? What is the attitude towards DR people in Barcelona? I've read several posts about racism in Spain so I am just wondering.

A. Well I'm a White Dominican and people made fun of my accent and slang when I went to university there. There the Spanish is so pure they look down on changes to it. But you are a mulato so youll face racial slurs, probably violence, especially after football games and holidays. So never go on the subway around that time. People telling you it isnt racists are those who never been there. Like A lot of Americans think Europe is some big socialists continent where there is racial harmony and everyone is atheists LOL, but if they ever came there they would be really shocked. Remember Spain was the last Fascist country.

Because then the monster wants to destroy himself and then goes to the north. How does the monster s behavior and attitude affect the way you view him? What is more important; science or a temperament and attitude towards science?
Q. What is more important to the self; science or a temprament and attitude of science in self. Is there any science which can help the self to enable and empower itself with knowledge and wisdom of self to enable and empower the self with an attitude and a temprament of science. What is this science; where can it be known and studied; how can it be practised. Can this science also help the self to enable and empower itself with knowledge and wisdom of any type and kind. Can we also use this science to help ourselves for enabling and empowering ourselves with that knowledge and wisdom which had been the cause, purpose, and reason of the existance, presence and working of self and the religion and god of self.

What do you think about the attitude of the Europeans who throw milk produced in their countries?
Q. In some corners of the world children starve without a drop of milk. Some places no water to drink. When millions around the world are hungry and thirsty, the Europeans throwing their milk productions shows their inhuman attitude towards the suffering of the poor. What do you think?
Asked by seinudeen al bakinigahawela - Thu Sep 24 22:59:37 2009 - - 3 Answers - 0 Comments
A. We need to ask WHY children starve in some corners of the world. We need to change the policies and practices that make this happen constantly. We need to also make it possible for taxpayers' money and public funds to cover the basic welfare costs of all Europeans and pensioners, as well as pay for the cost of pasteurising, packaging and transporting the milk to far away countries. We need to find REAL ways to solve the world's problems and not blame any group/country/ethnicity for it.

A. First question: Your attitude affects your lifestyle. If you were feeling unhappy, your may be living a depressed/sad/slow lifestyle. You can have a healthy lifestyle while having an unhealthy attitude. It just depends on the kind of person you are. Maybe you are the kind of person who likes to hide their feelings inside, while on the outside you maintain a healthy lifestyle. Maybe you're the kind of person who has an unhealthy attitude, but likes to keep their lifestyle healthy.

What is the relationship between attitude and behaviour?
Q. People know that wearing helmet while riding two-wheeler is compulsory by law. They also know that helmet reduces the potential of serious injury in the event of an accident. Yet, they do not wear helmet while riding. Is this a matter of attitude or behaviour? Corrective action should be aimed at attitude or behaviour?
Asked by nitya7 - Tue Nov 3 07:25:01 2009 - - 2 Answers - 0 Comments
A. Attitude directs the behavior. A lot of things go into a person's attitude though. Experiences, emotions, self will, desire etc. It is the great struggle in life to be able to control our actions by first controlling our thoughts and desires. As we learn control over our thoughts and desires then the right attitude develops also. As we develop the right attitude our attitude helps us to maintain the desired behavior. It starts with just a small desire in your heart that grows into conscious thought and develops into an action that becomes a habit and finally determines a life time behavior.

When she comes back with a better attitude, say "Thank you. I appreciate you're kind behavior and enjoy being with you when you are kind." How can I have a more positive attitude going into a class I expect to dislike?
Q. I'm taking honors physics this year even though science classes are always the most difficult for me. I have this ongoing sense of dread about the class, and I'm afraid that attitude is going to make the class even harder for me. How can I change my attitude to be more positive?

A. Physics honors is a tough one. What is the compulsion to take it if it is not to your liking? First banish the thought that you expect to dislike it. Otherwise, the fear is likely to become true, which will furtherreinforce this negative mode. It is difficult for one to to advise another, 'Like Physics.' Having said taht Physics is gruelling ; but fascinating. Involves quite a bit of mathematics if it is an honours course. Finally, it is your call.

What is the current attitude of Westererns toward death?
Q. Im writing an essay on metaphysical poets and I am having trouble formulating a sentence or two that summarises the attitude towards death in present day society. I would like to mention the notion of people challenging death eg. when cars drag race one another and narrowly avoid death. I would also like to incorporate the idea that life expectancy is almost three times what it was in late 16th century/early 17th century and as a result, people seem less concerned about death. Any help be much appreciated.
Asked by Marco L - Wed Aug 15 12:50:44 2007 - - 5 Answers - 0 Comments
A. Challenging death is a game for the young. Young men in their teens and twenties still have this notion that it can't happen to them and they push the envelope. To a lesser extent, young girls do it. By the time people reach 30, they know that life is fragile and they take fewer risks. Some people fear death, but the greater majority see it as something that will come with time. A few know that death is not an end, but a change. I'm in that category.

Q. Why does Miss Havisham command Joe and Pip to meet with her? What does Pip's attitude toward her offer reveal about his changing sense of values? I understand the first question... but I could use help on the second one.
