Why doesn't Rahm Emanuel pay property taxes?
Q. Why doesn't Rahm Emanuel pay property taxes? According to the Cook County Assessor's website, the Chicago home of four-term Democrat Congressman and new White House Chief of Staff, Rahm Emanuel, doesn't exist. While the address of 4228 North Hermitage is listed as Emanuel's residence on the Illinois State Board of Elections' website, there seems to be no public record of Emanuel ever paying property taxes on this home. The Cook County Assessor's and Cook County Treasurer's on-line records indicate Emanuel's Chicago neighbors pay between $3,500 and $7,000 annually. A. Red. It appears that all one has to do is be elected to any office by people who have a tiny bit of trust or appointed by an elected official and suddenly the laws by which others live magically do not apply.

this is about charity?
Q. This is on behalf of a charity foundation. This foundation helps indian children who are very poor, by sponsoring for their education. We contact people in uk who are able to afford to sponsor for a poor child's education. I wanted to know about the charitable trusts in UK, who provide funding for other charitable organisations whose projects are based outside UK. Many of our requests got rejected because they dont fund for projects outisde UK. If i get a list of trusts who can fund for projects outside UK, it would be very helpful for us.

Trying to raise money for a chariatble foundation at school. Any good ideas?
Q. Okay, we're raising money for a charitable foundation, and we need good ideas. We already have done (and can't do again) or are thinking of: A raffle Bake sales Dress down day (where we can wear whatever we want if we pay like 3 dollars, instead of wearing a uniform) A talent contest same idea. Some kind of quiz or word puzzle. Get one off the internet or make your own, then people pay to enter and have some kind of chocolates for a prize. Sponsoring form a local company, the kids parents might be interested of they have their own business maybe? A. - get flowers/cards and have people pay to send them to each other in class. So they'll sign up with you for a week and then on that friday you'll bring around the cards/flowers to people who are recieving them. - bingo night - fashion show - dance contest or dance off (dance contest is who can dance the best and dance off is who can dance the longest but still dance well) - mock of american idol - comedy night - open mic. night (have an open microphone and people can get up and read poetry, play music, etc.. as they please) - run/walk and you can get donations per mile ran/walked - petting zoo (find people in the community with different kinds of pets) - someone can teach a craft - game show night (copy some game show like family fued)
